Home / Sleep Environment Review

A room-by-room audit

The bedroom you sleep in, gently reviewed.

A calm, in-depth look at the room your nights actually happen in — light, sound, airflow, bedding and the small distractions that quietly add up.

What we look at

Six layers of a restful bedroom.

The audit isn't about buying anything new. Most clients leave with small rearrangements and one or two thoughtful swaps — not a shopping list.

Light layers

Morning sun, evening lamps, blinds and street-light spill — mapped from doorway to pillow.

Sound profile

Traffic hum, ceiling fans, neighbours and household noise — and how to soften what you can't move.

Air & temperature

A simple plan for Brisbane's seasons — airflow, bedding weight and humidity nudges.

Bed & bedding

Honest notes on your current mattress, pillow and sheets — what's serving you and what isn't.

Devices & chargers

Where screens, alarms and charging cables sit — and small repositionings that calm the room.

Visual calm

Clutter pathways, eye-line surfaces and the first thing you see when you open your eyes.

How the review runs

Two visits, one quiet plan.

  • A 30-minute video tour of your bedroom (or in-studio mock-up) to gather the essentials.
  • A written room report with photos you've shared, marked up with small, ordered suggestions.
  • A second short session two weeks later to talk through what shifted.
  • A clear "what's worth keeping, what's worth pausing" summary at the end.

Honest answers about the review.

Do I need to buy anything?

No. The review focuses on arrangement, layering and small habits. Any product mentions are optional and there are no affiliate links anywhere on this site.

Can the review be done entirely online?

Yes. Most reviews are run remotely using a short video walk-through and photos you share. In-person visits within Brisbane are available on request.

What if I rent or share the apartment?

The suggestions stay realistic for renters and shared homes — nothing structural, no permission slips required.
